Privacy policy

We collect as little as possible, use it only to answer you, and never sell it.

Who is responsible for your data

YellowWatt is the data controller for the personal data described on this page. We are a technical and management consultancy operating from Spain and Türkiye. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, because our processing is limited to the enquiries described below; questions therefore come straight to us.

What we collect, and why

  • Contact form. If you write to us, we receive the name, e-mail address, company and message you choose to send. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (art. 6(1)(f)). Your message is delivered to our mailbox. A copy is also written to a protected file on our server, outside the public web root, so that an enquiry is never lost if mail delivery fails. That copy records the details you submitted, the time, and the IP address the form was sent from, which is how we can demonstrate that consent was given (art. 7(1)). It is not a marketing list and it is not used for any other purpose.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical access logs (IP address, time, requested page) to operate and secure the service. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not use advertising trackers, we do not profile visitors, and we do not sell or rent personal data. This site loads no third-party fonts, scripts or embeds; everything is served from our own domain.

How long we keep it

Correspondence is kept for as long as the enquiry or the resulting business relationship requires, and then deleted. The server-side copy of form submissions is kept for twelve months and then deleted; it rotates automatically so it cannot grow without limit. Hosting logs are rotated by the provider on its standard schedule.

Who receives it

Our hosting provider processes data on our behalf as a technical service. We do not pass personal data to anyone else unless the law requires it.

Your rights, and how to use them

Under the GDPR you may ask us for access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing we base on legitimate interest. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect what was lawful before it.

How to make a request

  1. Write to info@yellowwatt.com with the subject line Data request.
  2. Tell us which right you are using and, if you can, when you contacted us, so we can find the correspondence.
  3. We may ask one question to confirm you are the person the data belongs to. This protects you: we will not hand personal data to somebody who is not you.
  4. We answer within one month. If a request is complex we may extend that by two further months, and we will tell you inside the first month if so.

Our answer is free. We charge nothing for a first request, and we do not require a particular form or template.

If you are not satisfied

You may complain to a supervisory authority at any time, and you do not have to contact us first:

  • Spain: Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), aepd.es
  • Türkiye: Kisisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu (KVKK), kvkk.gov.tr
  • Elsewhere in the EEA: the authority in your country of residence, place of work, or where the issue arose.

Changes
